Job Description:
We are working with a long standing client to support them in finding a NPD Process Technologist.
This role has been created due to the expansion of the work force at our client’s location. The successful candidate will work with a team to support and continue the high standards of the companies process’.
The main responsibilities for this role are:
* Creation of draft product manuals
* Organisation with production a calendar of agreed dates for upcoming production trials.
* To coordinate with the operation team in undertaking trials within the agreed time scale and production schedule.
* To co-ordinate pre-production and launch preparation
* Ensure that all settings of bakery machines, ovens, lines, provers and any key areas that can affect the product quality are photographed and are added to the product manual.
* Arrange the review of all production trial products with sales, technical and senior management to ensure that the product meets the agreed specification and is entered on to the process capability sheet.
* All M&S gate 2 and 3 product passports completed.
* Facilitate sample sign off with sales and to ensure all samples are sent on time and in full.
* To create photo standards for the products
* Contribute to post launch evaluation of process in conjunction with Technical Team to ensure process established at launch is still valid for full scale production
* Facilitate extra production trials when required and communicate with the business.
* Ensure all paperwork for specifications are sent to technical in agreed time scales.
The client would like to speak to candidates who:
* Understanding of machine process capabilities and settings
* Hand on helping with producing product sample
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail
* Team work
* Flexible attitude to working hours to ensure all deadlines are met.
Working hours for this role is Monday to Friday (40 hours), Salary starts at £35,000 – for the right candidate the salary can be negotiated to £38,000.
