Bookkeeper * Location: Cranleigh, Surrey, GU6

* Salary: £28,000-£35,000 pa
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Sole Charge Bookkeeper to join our team and provide essential support to a long-established manufacturing company in Cranleigh, Surrey. With over 40 years of reputable service, this role offers a skilled individual the chance to play a vital role in the smooth operation of our business.
Day-to-day of the role: * Manage all bookkeeping functions for the company using accounting software like Sage (We use Exchequer).
* Conduct bank reconciliations and process accounts payable and receivable.
* Maintain a multi-currency sales ledger and perform credit control activities.
* Handle accruals, prepayments, and have knowledge of stock control and manufacturing journals.
* Prepare and reconcile VAT returns and generate month-end reports.
* Assist with various office administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies and liaising with vendors.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Sole Charge Bookkeeper.
* Right to work in the UK without any restrictions on duration or nature of work.
* Hands-on experience with modern accounting software.
* Ability to commute to our office location in Cranleigh, Surrey.
* Thrive in a collaborative work environment, while being able to work independently.
* Meticulous with a strong eye for detail and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
