Registered Manager - Children’s Residential * Annual Salary: £40k - £55k

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to lead a brand new children’s residential home in Ormskirk. This role involves managing a solo placement home and potentially being dual registered for two solo homes. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
Day-to-day of the role: * Oversee the daily operations of a solo placement children’s residential home.
* Ensure the highest standards of care and support are consistently provided.
* Lead and manage staff, providing supervision, training, and development opportunities.
* Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and actively prepare for inspections.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures that reflect best practice.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, families, and external agencies.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively.
* Be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Minimum of two years’ experience in children’s residential care.
* Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care or currently in progress.
* Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce (CYPW) or equivalent in children’s residential care.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent understanding of the regulatory framework governing children’s homes.
* Ability to work flexibly and respond to the needs of the home.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
