Job Description:
Accounts Assistant | Telford | Permanent | £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant with a particular flair for accurately maintaining purchase ledgers?
We are delighted to be working with a well-respected Telford base company who are looking to recruit a hardworking and adaptable person into their friendly finance team. This award winning manufacturing company has sustainability at the heart of its operations and are passionate about their customers receiving the best products and service in their market.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
* Purchase ledger: raising PO’s, matching and batching invoices, payment runs, supplier statement reconciliations and dealing with any queries that might occur.
* Sales ledger - assisting with queries and monitoring accounts.
* Liaising with customers and suppliers.
* Assisting in other areas of finance, as required e.g. payroll, bank reconciliations, etc.
You will be able to demonstrate:
* At least 2 years in a similar role.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to liaise effectively internally and externally.
* A good team player.
