Job Description:
* Continuous Improvement Manager £55,000 - £65,000 + Company Wide Benefits *
Futures have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager on behalf of a leading, billion £ FMCG manufacture who are well-known in the market for their market leading products we all use on a daily basis!
Reporting in to the Site Director and managing a small team, you will be the go to person for promoting a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business. You will work collaboratively with the businesses Senior Leadership Team to make positive changes and actively seek improvements in your own activities and processes.
Key Duties of a ContinuousImprovement Manager Include:
*Develop a successful business continuous improvement strategy and implement activities in all major lean disciplines
*Manage a team of 2
*Lead and drive lean transformation and change initiatives to create and sustain world-class, visually managed manufacturing operations for recognition of waste and performance KPI’s
*Manage the change of new equipment, processes and raw materials
*Organise and manage BI workloads to ensure that their projects are achievable and are on track to completed
*Educate all teams, providing upskilling and training plans
*Be proactive in developing the business going forward through innovation and creativity, initiating new processes and product improvements to drive quality and efficiency
Key Skills and Experience of a Continuous Improvement Manager:
*A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Business Improvement or Continuous Improvement role
*Experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment
*A proven track record of making positive changes within a business
*Demonstrate the ability to influence Site Leadership
*Solid knowledge and application of "Lean" basics
*Previous experience of people management would be desirable
*Ambitious, eager to learn and develop further
