Job Description:
Are you an experienced Property Manager looking for a new challenge? Our client an award winning, independent Estate Agency in Hampstead is looking for a super organised Property Manager for their busy office. Dealing in Sales, Lettings, New Homes and Property Management, they pride themselves on their local knowledge advising homeowners on buying and letting in the local area. They are fully committed to excellence at all levels while still maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere.
The Property Manager is a vital link with the Lettings team, essential to the continued success and growth of the portfolio, ensuring tenancies are sustained and properties maintained. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of problem solving with excellent customer service skills. You will be working in a fast paced environment so speed and accuracy is key.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join their property management team where they have a great working environment. The role is to assist the property managers within the business and where needed jump onto different portfolios to help with workload and holiday cover.
Driving licence is NOT required for this position.
Salary package and benefits of this Property Manager role include:
* Basic £30,000 - £40,000
* Mon - Thurs 9am to 6pm and Fri 9am - 5.30pm
* Hybrid after probation
* Excellent training and development

Main responsibilities for this role of Property Manager include:
* Arranging pre - tenancy requirements eg professional cleaning, smoke alarm tests etc
* Agreeing what ’float’ should be held, money retained to pay invoices on a landlord’s behalf
* Dealing with any maintenance issues, liaising with contractors, landlords and block managers
* Estimates obtained for repairs / replacements to be approved by landlords
* Processing invoices
* Dealing with insurance claims, liaising with block managers and loss adjusters
* Inspecting properties and submitting reports to landlords
* Perusing checkout reports, dealing with deposits and deductions, liaising with landlords and tenants
* Submitting disputes to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme when necessary
Essential skills for this Property Manager role include:
* Must have 2+ years Property Management experience
* Complete understanding of the whole 360 property management role
* ARLA qualification preferred but not essential
* Excellent IT skills
* Excellent communication skills, confident dealing with landlords
* Work well in a team assisting other property managers in the business
* Positive attitude
* Impeccable customer service skills
* Good time management and excellent organisational skills
* Able to work to deadlines
