Position Overview: As a primary supply teacher in the Orpington area, you will have the opportunity to work across various schools within our network. Whether it’s covering for teacher absences, supporting long-term assignments, or contributing to enrichment programs, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity in education and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of a primary supply teacher:
* Delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects and grade levels.
* Following existing lesson plans and adapting them as necessary to meet the needs of students.
* Maintaining classroom discipline and creating a supportive learning atmosphere.
* Providing constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
* Collaborating with colleagues and school staff to ensure seamless integration into the school community.
Qualifications:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and establish rapport with students.
* Flexibility and availability to work on short notice.
