Job Summary
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be a vital member of the mechanical department, primarily focused on addressing any breakdowns or issues that hinder the site’s full operational capacity. Your daily responsibilities will include planned preventative maintenance on various mechanical systems, fault-finding on gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, crushers, and hydraulic systems, as well as assisting with new installations and projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct pre-planned and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery and equipment (inspection, testing, installation, repairs).
* Interpret mechanical drawings for various systems to manage breakdowns or additions.
* Collaborate with other departments as needed.
Professional Experience
* Experience with mechanical plant and equipment in challenging environments
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and fault analysis
