We are seeking to recruit an IT Support Technician Apprentice who is a hardworking, organised individual with flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing first line technical support to ensure SCVO colleagues, tenants, and managed IT clients have access to on-premises and cloud-hosted IT systems and applications
* Ensuring all IT support is delivered efficiently and effectively, in line with specific SLAs and to the customer’s satisfaction
* Keeping customers informed regarding ongoing tickets and delivering effective communication to the business
* Performing installations and configurations of IT equipment as requested by clients and colleagues to meet requirements
* Creating, testing, and maintaining software builds, working with vendors and suppliers to meet required standards for PCs and laptops
* Performing Microsoft 365 system administration tasks, such as managing user accounts, permissions, and ensuring system security
* Liaising with vendors to establish solid relationships and reliable solutions
* Ensuring technical documentation and diagrams are kept up-to-date, in line with industry best practices
What we’re looking for:
* A strong interest in technology and its significance in a work environment
* Basic understanding of the Windows Operating System
* Basic understanding of IT principles and practices
* A strong customer focus and excellent customer service skills
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Salary:
£21,840 per annum
Working hours:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
