Job Description:
My client, a prestigious and historic West End landlord, are seeking a capable property management professional (min. 1-2 years post-qualified MRICS) to manage one of their key portfolios - comprising commercial office, retail and alternative-use assets - on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Management, this individual will be a self-starter and will promptly familiarise with a mix of tenants across the almost 100% occupied collection of properties.
You will be responsible for:
* Negotiating lease terms, and undertaking rental, leasehold, and freehold valuation.
* Setting, monitoring, and reconciling service charge budgets with multiple schedules.
* Assisting in the acquisition and disposal of properties.
* Implementing sustainability building practices and initiatives.
* Navigating building construction, refurbishment works and diagnosing property defects.
* Working closely with facilities and maintenance teams to ensure repairs, improvement works, and technical matters are swiftly resolved.
* Liaising with internal and third-party suppliers, agents, and consultants pertaining to business rates, leasing strategy, legal matters, and major projects.
