Job Description:
Job Advert: Export Administrator
Salary: £12 - £14 per hour DOE
Working Pattern: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Location: Inverurie
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the internal import/export filing system for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Create and manage import/export documentation.
- Handle supply chain-related paperwork.
- Prepare dispatch documentation.
- Liaise with freight forwarding companies.
- Accurately complete export documentation in a timely manner.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth export of goods.
- Provide import clearance instructions to carriers and freight forwarders.
- Work with freight forwarders and HMRC to amend import and export customs entries.
- Conduct daily reviews and release export-held shipments.
- Support the goods in, dispatch, and stores inspection areas as required.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Results-driven with sound commercial thinking and the ability to act as a brand ambassador.
- Enjoys challenges and variety.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
