Job Description:
This role has a starting salary of £35,730 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.
This is a 18-month fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity.
We are excited to be hiring a new a Health & Wellbeing Programme & Partnership Support Officer into our Health and Wellbeing Programme team to support the delivery of the three priorities in the Surrey Health and Wellbeing Strategy. The team is based in Public Health and provides the opportunity to engage with multiple organisations across Surrey as part of the very well connected Public Health Team which provides various opportunities for learning and development within the role. Based at our Woodhatch office in Reigate, it is a role is hybrid role with the expectation of being in the office on average 2 days a week.

About the Team
The Public Health Team within the Adults, Wellbeing and Health Partnerships department in Surrey is forward-looking, with ambitions to support significant improvements in the health and wellbeing of, and reductions in health inequalities within, our county’s population.
About the Role
Sitting within the Health and Wellbeing Programme Team, this role will involve coordination and other support duties, including the smooth running of related high level boards and other key partnership meetings related to health and wellbeing in Surrey. This will involve preparing agendas, minutes, drafting presentations, engaging with partners to understand performance and outcomes of health and wellbeing programmes and related communications materials. In doing this you will work with a wide range of people both within Surrey County Council and the various local organisations represented by the Health and Wellbeing Board.
Shortlisting Criteria
To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:
* Practical experience of supporting senior level boards with the ability to summarise complex discussions accurately within minutes
* Able to act on own initiative and ensure the smooth operation of meetings.
* Demonstrable time management and prioritisation skills with a fine attention to detail.
* Excellent written and communication skills to confidently engage with a range of stakeholders.
* A basic understanding of local government and health systems, policies and services together with an appreciation of challenges faced by local government and health and care providers and commissioners.
