Job Responsibilities:
Learn about various insurance products, including property and casualty, life, health, and commercial insurance.
Assist senior brokers in managing client portfolios, including processing policy applications, renewals, and endorsements.
Conduct research and analysis on insurance policies and coverage options to provide appropriate recommendations to clients.
Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations for clients.
Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms, rates, and coverage for clients.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products.
Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills in insurance brokerage.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities effectively.
A strong desire to learn and develop a career in the insurance industry.
Prior experience in customer service or sales is a plus.
