CIVIL CAD Technician * Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a Civil CAD Technician, ideally proficient in Civil 3D, to join our Clients highly motivated team. This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to tackle a variety of challenges across a diverse range of projects. With a focus on highways, drainage, and infrastructure design, this position is perfect for those looking to advance their career and develop their skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Day to Day of the role: * Engage in hands-on design work, including highways, drainage, and infrastructure projects.
* Provide technical support to other members of the in-house team.
* Prepare, review, and issue design drawings, taking responsibility for their accuracy.
* Liaise effectively with clients, professional teams, Local Authorities, and contractors.
* Manage the technical approval process with a high degree of autonomy.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Hold an appropriate engineering/CAD qualification.
* Considerable experience in a civil engineering design consultancy.
* Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoTrack, and MicroDrainage is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with highway planning procedures, including Section 38/278 Agreements, and UK design principles and standards.
* Knowledge of drainage adoption procedures and design principles.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with clients and professional teams.
* Good financial and commercial awareness.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
