Job Description:
Are you an experienced Defined Benefit Pensions Administrator who is now looking to develop and advance your knowledge away from the day-to-day administration environment?
If so please read on.
We are working with leading provider of specialist data management, projects and administrator support services within UK pensions industry who are now seeking someone with Defined Benefit pension’s experience who is now looking to further utilise and develop their expertise in a different area.
Using your pensions (defined benefit experience), the role will see you engaging and working with client in providing expertise in the calculation of pension benefits, cleansing and rectifying clients’ pensions data, including file review and data extraction.
Furthermore, the roles will see you using your pensions knowledge to identify relevant information held for members, as well as:
* Peer reviewing tasks carries out by team members and clients
* Review scheme rules, specifications and member documentation to establish benefits.
* Use MS Excel or similar application to input formulae to produce semi-automated calculations.
* Produce ad hoc manual calculations of benefits.
* Assist with project delivery
With your experience gained within a Defined Benefit pension administration environment, that includes manual calculations, this is an excellent developing career opportunity for someone who is looking to utilise and advance their skill set by being trained in other areas of the pensions sector.
Additionally, it is essential that you possess a high level of MS Office skills, especially Excel, coupled with excellent organisational skills and proven articulate and competent communication ability.
