Project Engineer - Milton Keynes - £40,000 to £50,000 (DOE) + Pension, Bonus and Benefits

Project Engineer - Role Overview:
Conceptual design, technical specification, research and product development, theoretical modelling and calculations, production support, project management and feasibility study applied to the full product lifecycle.
Be responsible for the implementation of engineering changes.
Major redesign activity to follow NPI methodology.
Project Engineer - Role Tasks:
Produce Engineering documentation to define products.
Ensure that calculations, tests and relevant design methods are carried out to verify and validate that products meet specification.
Liaise with other departments to support the introduction of products and provide technical support for existing products.
For projects that require stage gate approval and are required to follow the NPI (New Product Introduction) process.
Communicate with customers to ensure products meet specification.
Lead Engineering Change activities by reviewing Change requests and through sound engineering principals propose and implement engineering changes.
Project Engineer - Candidate Requirements:
A recognised degree in a Mechanical, Electronic or Mechatronic discipline.
Over three years experience as an engineer in a Mechanical, electronic or Mechatronic environment.
Ability to produce Engineering documents using CAD.
Computer literate: Ability to use Microsoft Word & Excel, computer databases.
Project Engineer - Hours and Benefits:
10% Bonus (based on personal and company performance)
37.5 hours per week, with flexible start and finish options
Options to work from home for at least one day per week.
Up to 15% pension
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
