Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will meet with clients to assess their needs, seek out the best financial and mortgage solutions, and sell associated insurance products from Legal & General. You will work closely with the residential estate agency team to maximise business opportunities, provide coaching and support to colleagues, and proactively contact existing clients for new business. Ensuring all documentation is compliant with FCA guidelines is also crucial.
Candidate Profile We are looking for someone driven and motivated by success, results, and reward. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of mortgage advisory experience, be CEMAP 1 qualified (minimum) or have Competency Advisor Status (CAS), and possess a great work ethic. You should be smart, articulate, well-presented, ambitious, and self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure. Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues is essential, as is a full driving licence.
Compensation and Benefits The package includes a basic salary of £31,000, with a supporting additional payment guarantee for a fixed period. You will have the option of a company car or car allowance (£3,500), with the opportunity to work towards a prestigious vehicle such as an Audi, Jaguar, or BMW. The on-target earnings are £60,000, with uncapped potential. The work pattern is five days per week, including Saturdays, with typically two Saturdays off per month. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 08.30 to 17.30 and Saturday from 09.00 to 17.00, with the option to work from home one day per week.
