Job Description:
SRG are currently looking for a Regulatory Affairs Associate for a Global Healthcare Company who have opened a new vacancy within their Regulatory team on an initial 6-month basis based out of their offices in Tadworth. Hybrid/remote working considered.
The Role
The role enables market access for products regulated as Food Contact Materials in the UK & EU and General products in the UK & EU and requires knowledge of the current National Food Contact materials and General Product regulations in order to conduct regulatory assessments and ensure compliance as well as to develop processes to sustain compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in project teams to define country regulatory requirements.
* Prepare accurate regulatory submissions to secure timely approvals in support of business initiatives.
* Monitor the development of relevant changes to regulations and standards and communicate potential business impact.
* Support training on local and regional regulatory requirements to the appropriate business team members, testing activities and business strategies to the registration process.
* Conduct training seminars on regulatory requirements.
* Maintain regulatory procedures to ensure consistent, efficient and compliant regulatory processes.
* Maintain tracking information in support of regulatory compliance for products with a food contact claim.
* Communicate appropriately with all customers, government and regulatory agencies and peers.
Qualifications & Experience
* A Bachelor´s degree, ideally in technical or scientific discipline and 2-3 years of relevant technical experience.
* Experience should include close working relationships with Business, Marketing, Manufacturing and Research functions, and a solid background of technical knowledge and experience combined with the proven ability to successfully support projects.
* Must be fluent in English, other languages are desirable.
* EU General safety regulations knowledge.
* Proven experience within a similar role.
