Job Description:
A tech-enabled, dynamic, professional services firm is currently looking to add an experienced Tax professional to its Large Corporate and International Tax team.

The Practice provides the full range of accountancy and tax services and operates across Scotland, Ireland and England with an international reach through its professional network and expertise.
The Role
Due to a period of sustained growth within the Large Corporate and International Tax team, the business is recruiting for Corporate Tax Assistant Manager or Manager who can be based in either Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow
The key responsibilities will include:
*Providing support to businesses when expanding into new and emerging markets
*Co-ordinating and overseeing in-country corporate tax compliance inhouse and with local advisors
*Tax efficient structuring and restructuring
*Legal entity simplification and rationalisation
*Interpreting and analysing new and developing UK legislation
*Optimising financial structures in a tax efficient manner
*Intercompany transactions advice and compliance with transfer pricing
*Advising on large or complex UK corporate tax matters including but not limited to interest deductibility, intercompany transactions, hybrid mismatch, BEPS, corporate criminal offence, SAO, tax strategy etc.
*Proactively managing UK and overseas tax investigations and enquiries
*Building and developing relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for new work from existing and new clients
*Developing and growing our junior tax advisors and supporting the training of our team
*Support the leadership team with key business wide projects and initiatives e.g. tax technology developments, growth initiatives etc
*Flexible and agile approach to work
*Effective time management skills with excellent communication and project management skills
The Person
*CA, or equivalent, ATT or CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA)
*May consider CA or equivalent with a strong commitment to undertake CTA or ADIT
*Prior UK corporate tax experience with multinational groups
*Experience of UK and overseas compliance and international tax advisory work preferred
*Successful management of international and large corporate projects from engagement and onboarding, through to delivery on time and on budget and with follow up and feedback
*Professional, technical and pro-active approach to delivering tax advice to clients
