Job Description:
Are you an Operations Manager with a strong people management background, and a passion for lean manufacturing?
We are working with a world leading manufacturer within power generation who could be interested in your background!
Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 7.30am - 4.30pm
Friday: 7.30am - 12.30pm
Package:
* Pension: 5% & 8%
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Management bonus up to 10%
* Death in Service x2 your salary
Key Responsibilities
* You will manage the entire site operation (Around 100 including 4 direct reports)
* Support the deployment and operation of an efficient and effective NPDI process to introduce new parts into the business on time
* Ensure critical business processes are deployed, resourced, and governed effectively to support the operations (Sales, Inventory & Operations, Planning etc)
* Looking after everything operationally (sales output, purchasing, on time delivery, customer management and customer escalations etc)
* Deliver the order book on time (very health order book)
* Manage the entire budget of the site
* Ensure all manufacturing operations running smoothly
Key Skills
* Hold a strong people management background
* Hold experience managing different parts of a business
* Ideally have worked within a highly regulated industry
* Ideally hold experience within machining/fabrication
* Have a passion for lean manufacturing
