Paraplanner - St Neots - Attractive Package
Role - Paraplanner
ALH Recruitment are looking for a Paraplanner to join and complement our leading client in St Neots.
As a Paraplanner in a busy pensions and investments team, you will play a crucial role in a local independent financial advice firm by managing and administering various aspects of clients pension schemes and investment accounts. Working alongside a team of three administrators, your role will closely support the financial advisers to provide key technical and financial recommendations to their clients.
Your attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively will allow the financial advisers to create key plans for their client’s investment and retirement goals. Your role will involve liaising with financial advisers and internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant management of client assets.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical financial knowledge and support to the pensions and investments advisers and administrators
* Act as point of contact for internal sign off of various processes undertaken by the administration to ensure compliance at all times
* Process pension and investment applications, withdrawals, transfers and other related transactions dealing with technical queries as and when they arise
* Maintain a good understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
* Regularly review large volumes of data for accuracy and address any discrepancies
* Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation related to pension and investment processes
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A minimum of three years’ experience in a technical administration/paraplanning role
* Be working towards you Level 4 diploma in financial planning
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word for written communications
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team - with the ability to lead the administration team as and when required
