Area Sales Manager - External Wall Insulation
Job Title: Business Development Manager - External Wall Insulation
Industry Sector: Render, Plasters, Mortars, Textured Products, Silicone Render, Contractors, National Merchants, Independent Merchants, External Wall Insulation, EWI, Exterior Finishes, Structural Concrete, Building Materials, Building Products, Rainscreen, Façade, Cladding, Façade Renders, Architectural Renders, Architectural Facades, Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager
Areas to be covered: North (Sheffield to Scottish border)
Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + circa 20% commission paid quarterly
Benefits: Ford Ranger & full comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Business Development Manager - External Wall Insulation will involve:
* Field sales positions selling a high quality manufactured range of external wall insulation, renders, paints and plasters
* 60% of your time selling into builders merchants, independent merchants and buying groups such as: MKM
* 40% selling direct to applicators, installers, render contractors
* 70% new business 30% account management
* Dealing with typical order values of £1k - £50k+
* Working in conjunction with the Sales Director and internal sales team
The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager - External Wall Insulation with:
* Must have field sales experience in the construction industry
* Must be from an associated product background for example: EWI, render, drylining, screed, plasters, mortars, insulation, facades, etc
* Must have sold merchants
* Ideally sold to applicators and installers however not essential
* Technical and on-site experience with building materials
* Genuine ’get up and go’, determined and tenacious, make a good impression
