This superb Head Chef position is available in a popular Gastro Pub producing Fresh, Seasonal, Modern British food in a relaxed professional environment.
The Kitchen
With a strong and dedicated management team, the kitchen produces food in a great, supportive, and relaxed working environment where everyone can show their skills and ideas on the plate. The Head Chef will have the freedom of producing their own dishes and menus as well as enjoying themselves in the kitchen with its great working environment. The brigade consists of 4 dedicated chefs, who will support the Head Chef in his/ her role.
The Business
This is a privately owned Bar/Restaurant business that has many loyal customers, both locally and nation-wide. The relaxed venue prides itself on great hospitality and, of course, amazing drinks and food. The menu comprises of breakfast brunch and light bites into the early evening. This is a fun place to work where people come to celebrate special events.
The Position
The Head Chef Position comes with a great salary, which comes with the advantage of great tips as well. Your main responsibilities will be to successfully manage the kitchen operation, working with the owners in developing fresh new menu ideas in keeping with the modern British/Traditional English style using fresh produce from local suppliers. Our client is looking for a sous chef who is looking to take on his first Head Chef role or an experienced Head chef looking for a new challenge.
