Field Sales Executive Crane Industry:North UK
Hours: Full-time
Job Type: Permanent
Our client is a leading distributor for the innovative Maeda mini cranes, Klaas aluminium truck and trailer cranes. They are searching for a Field Sales Executive to focus in the Northern parts of the UK.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, customer-focused individual with a proven track history in sales, ideally from a crane, plant, powered access or material handling or construction background.
Candidates from outside these industries will still be considered but experience of selling some type of capital equipment and conducting a consultative sell is essential.
The successful candidate will be covering clients across the North of the UK (including Scotland) and covering other areas as and when required, benefitting from a competitive package. There is a strong need for the candidate to be independent and focused, with excellent negotiation and presentation skills and effective verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
*Finding a new client base across the North of the UK as well as dealing with existing customers.
*Field based role so this job will involve staying away from home at times
*Monthly meetings at HO in Bristol
*Potential visits to our Crane suppliers outside of the UK
*Business development
*Actively involved in exhibitions
*Take responsibility for revenue stream and overall growth
*Prepare and implement action plans for effective search of sales leads, time management, implement company sales and service strategy to achieve sales and profit targets
*Identify, research and contact prospective customers to build positive relationships to generate future sales
*Visit existing and new customers North of the UK (and covering sales colleagues during holidays and sickness), building and maintaining good customer relationships
*Making and following up offers/quotations using company IT tools and processes
*Develop long term sales objectives and adapt sales activities so these objectives are met.
*Create, update, report and summarize all of your activities so that your sales funnel is accurate and up to date.
*Any other reasonable tasks as required by Directors or management
