Job Description:
Are you a Sales Manager with a strong technical background and a proven track record in technical sales. If you are a candidate who is passionate about being responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing business opportunities within the UK and internationally, focusing on both end users and distributors then the below role may be of interest. This role requires a consultative approach, deep technical understanding, and solution-based selling skills.
Day to Day of the role:
* Build and develop business opportunities with a mix of warm leads, lapsed clients, and new business distributors.
* Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand market trends and demands.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and clients, providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process.
* Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of clients.
* Meet and exceed sales targets, driving continuous revenue growth.
* Stay updated on international market trends and competitor activities to guide business strategies.
* Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering is beneficial.
* Proven track record in technical sales, preferably within the electronics industry.
* Strong technical aptitude with the ability to simplify complex problems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proactive and tenacious attitude with a competitive drive.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
