This is a recruitment agency which specialises in placing temporary and permanent staff across several sectors. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior level Business Development Manager to join the team to develop their Northwest-based business across the Industrial and Driving sectors. This role involves generating sustainable business with key clients and local companies with an emphasis on SME companies in the short term and larger business as part of a longer term plan. You will have a proven track record within outbound recruitment industry sales as the role will involve visiting client premises to determine recruitment needs leading to business conversion, generating leads and new business.
An in depth understanding of the Recruitment Industry is vital.
The role will be autonomous, whilst working with a wider BD team and will include:
* Canvassing prospective clients, visiting premises, and selling the services of the agency.
* Thoroughly understanding the local recruitment marketplace.
* Growing the existing customer database from proactive sales and regular contact.
* Establishing opportunities for further growth.
* Understanding the competitor marketplace and future opportunities available.
* Preparing supplier agreements and proposals.
* Personal diary management.
Key Skills you must be able to demonstrate:
* Confidence in dealing with people on all levels in a professional and friendly manner.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* A history of building strong, long-term client relationships.
* A positive and tenacious attitude.
* An organised and thorough approach, even under pressure.
* Thrive working in a target-driven environment.
* A full clean driving licence.
* Recruitment Industry experience is absolutely essential for this role.
