Job Description:

Hooray are delighted to be supporting one of the largest providers of education and care to assist in the recruitment for a Head of School to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This opportunity is to look after one of their newly opened schools, which is rapidly growing in size, and with some exciting refurbishments commencing!

As a Head of School, you will:
* Establish and sustain the school’s ethos and strategic direction together with the Principal
* Establish and oversee systems, processes and policies to ensure safe operation
* Identify barriers to school effectiveness, and develop strategies for school improvement
* Allocate financial resources appropriately, efficiently and effectively
* Undertake safeguarding duties, supported by the Principal
* Work in close partnership with the Principal in actively and demonstrably promoting enrichment, entitlement and achievement
To be successful as a Head of School, you will:
* Be an experienced Head Teacher with a track record of success in SEND environments
* Hold a QTS with further professional qualification in a relevant area
* Have experience of working as a senior leader within an ASD environment
* Display an outstanding understanding of Ofsted frameworks and safeguarding legislation
* Be a superb communicator with stakeholder management skills
In return, my client are offering a salary of up to £73,500 per annum. Please note, this is a full-time, permanent position!
