Grafton Banks Finance is working exclusively with a Kingston Upon Thames based global business to recruit a Group Reporting Manager. The role is mostly remote with a maximum of one day onsite and the rest remote each week. The Group Reporting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Group Reporting function, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial information to external stakeholders. This role demands strong leadership abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and adeptness in managing reporting processes and systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the Group Reporting team, taking full ownership of reporting processes across all cycles and related systems.
* Delivery of external reporting requirements for stakeholders, excluding statutory accounts and tax responsibilities. The external reporting requirements include those of our Board, shareholders, regulators and lenders.
* Management of the processes for both the monthly reporting and forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Oversee the Group’s statutory consolidation system, optimizing it’s utilization to deliver the Group’s results and forecasts for both management and statutory purposes.
* Providing leadership and guidance to the reporting team.
The role requires someone with experience of a group level accounting overview, consolidation, and storytelling. The individual will need excellent attention to detail to review and write accurate, well written board reports for external use. Suitable candidates will have group level board pack preparation & reporting experience, listed or PE company and team management experience.
