Position: Teaching Assistant
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time, Term-time only
Job Description As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our teachers and students. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
* Providing individual and small group support to students to enhance their learning experience.
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
* Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
* Supervising students during break times and school activities.
* Assisting with administrative tasks as required.
Requirements * A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
* An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
* A level 2/3 TA qualification or solid experience working in schools/with children is desired but not essential.
