Job Description:
St Austell Brewery is a leading wholesaler for
drinks across the UK,supplying not only
our exceptional range of keg and cask beers but also a diverse range of
beverages, from premium wines and spirits to craft beers and non-alcoholic
options from 3rd party suppliers .
To ensure we can meet the needs of our customers and enhance our
service, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ecommerce Manager to drive
our online sales and enhance our digital presence. As the Ecommerce Manager, you will be
responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimise our online
channels, increase sales, and improve our customer experience.
This crucial role is responsible for
overseeing, managing and developing St Austell Brewery’s online ordering
platform, specifically for our wholesale customers. You will also be managing
and developing our growing Ecommerce team and supporting the Head of Sales
Operations with both internal and external relationships, whilst ensuring that
our online platform is market leading, and future proofed in line with the
company’s ambitions.
About you
* Experience of managing conversion campaigns in line with the company
strategy, and supporting customers to onboard to the new online platform
* Able to implement effective SEO strategy, setting objectives, and working
with the wider marketing team to ensure is content is fit for purpose, and is
driving visibility and sales
* Experience of working with a digital agency and internal stakeholders
to drive basket spend in line with company objectives and budgeted top line and
bottom-line growth
* Knowledge of Umbraco or a similar CMS desired.
* Technical understanding of Microsoft Dynamics, Chorus would be an
advantage.
* Ability to oversee the on-going design and development of the on-line
ordering platform, in line with the current roadmap, working closely with the
company’s web development agency and internal technical team.
* A strong understanding of evaluating and analysing a digital roadmap, able
to prioritise and review enhancements in line with business’ needs.
* Excellent technical understanding of best practice and the ability to
challenge our digital agency to ensure KPI’s kept on track.
* Experience of developing robust processes for user acceptance testing
and performance troubleshooting.
* Able to prepare regular reports and analyse conversion numbers, that
can be cascaded to the internal stakeholders, to help to build and develop our
Ecommerce reporting dashboard
* A future thinker and planner who can look ahead to ensure the site
remains relevant and current.
* A passion for market trends, data and commercial awareness.
