Job Description:
This well-established organisation based in Cranleigh is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team. You will be working within an influential organisation that offers a friendly working environment and has a committed workforce. This role will be office based however does offer some flexibility for remote working. This role will be a great fit for someone with a minimum of 3 years’ payroll experience who is now looking for their next challenge.

Payroll Officer - About The Role
In this role you will be reporting into the Director of Finance and will be responsible for supporting the daily running of the payroll department. You will be working alongside one other payroller and will be working closely with Finance and HR.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Accurate processing of the payroll for around 250 staff, ensuring it is processed accurately and on time
* Collating and finalising information regarding starters, leavers and salary changes
* Processing payroll HR matters and authorising payroll related payments
* Liaise directly with all staff to assist with any HR queries that relate to salaries
* Process monthly timesheets as approved and input additional hours on the payroll system
* Preparation of monthly payroll and annual statutory returns and related audits
* Administration of all pension schemes, completion of year end returns and compliance with audits
* Undertaking payroll related projects and managing all system improvements
The successful Payroll Officer will have:
* Previous experience in a similar position
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll
* Strong attention to detail
