Financial Accountant * Annual Salary: £33,000 - £40,000

Day to Day of the role: * Gather and monitor financial data such as sales revenues and liabilities.
* Prepare financial statements including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
* Analyse detailed costs and revenue drivers.
* Manage tax payments and support internal and external audits.
* Assist in budgeting for the company and individual departments.
* Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies and conduct detailed risk analyses.
* Analyse financial trends and perform month-end and year-end close processes.
* Engage in and support team development and assist finance leadership with ad-hoc projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Financial/Management Accountant or in a similar role.
* Driven and curious, with a desire to learn and articulate ideas clearly.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
* Experience with ERP systems.
* In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures and solid knowledge of accounting regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail and time-management abilities.
* Commitment to confidentiality.
* Bachelor’s degree with a keen interest in finance.
* Additional certification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA – Finalist/Newly Qualified) is advantageous.
* Must be within commuting distance to Harlow, Essex.
