Job Description:
Position Overview: Murray Myers Recruitment are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical Technician to join an Electrical Department at their lower-tier COMAH facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly skilled electrical engineering team, and we are looking for candidates available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct electrical preventative and reactive maintenance in an industrial environment.
* Perform electrical plant installation and modification in an industrial setting.
* Carry out statutory inspections.
* Utilize computerized maintenance management systems.
* Interpret equipment drawings, manuals, and technical information to assist with all tasks.
* Adhere to company safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
* Understand and apply ATEX requirements (preferred).
Qualifications and Training:
* Minimum RQF level 3 (e.g., City & Guilds level 3) in a practical electrical discipline.
* Recognized electrical apprenticeship (preferred).
* 18th edition electrical wiring regulations (preferred).
* Compex (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification (preferred, not essential).
* Training with MEWP’s (preferred).
Benefits:
Additional payment for an electrical call-in rota system (minimum £1.6k per annum for a 1 in 4 rota) upon obtaining site knowledge.

* 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
