Job Description:
Role Summary & Purpose
Our Warehouse Person is responsible for effective stock maintenance of incoming and outgoing stock, complying with the company’s health and safety regulations while providing high standards of customer service. The use of Mechanical Handling Equipment and some manual lifting will be involved and as such you will need the ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism towards safety.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* To unload and check accuracy of all incoming stock deliveries in line with the Health & Safety offloading procedures and company policy
* To maintain a high level of stock security and carry out the required security checks on all outgoing orders and deliveries
* To carry out daily/weekly stock checks according to procedure, ensuring an accurate computer stock file
* To ensure a safe and comfortable environment is maintained for customers and employees within the depot
Key Challenges 
* Maintaining accuracy of inventory through line checks, in order to fulfil customer orders
* Optimising space in the warehouse ensuring this remains neat and tidy at all times and stock is always easily accessible
* Attention to detail to ensure that stock checks are carried out accurately
About You
* Basic Literacy and numeracy skills
* Experience working within a large organisation
* Ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines
* Ability to pay attention to detail, while being organised and committed
