Job Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing legal firm based in Leicester, dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to a wide range client. Their team is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and client care. As they continue to expand, we are looking for a talented and motivated Legal Cashier to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Hours:
*Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week.

Responsibilities:
*Processing client and office account transactions.
*Handling electronic bank payments and receipts.
*Reconciling bank accounts daily and monthly.
*Ensuring compliance with SRA accounts rules.
*Managing petty cash and office expenses.
*Preparing and processing invoices and payments.
*Liaising with fee earners and support staff regarding financial queries.
*Preparing month-end and year-end financial reports.
*Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning.
*Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
*Supporting the external accountants during audits.
Qualifications and Requirements:
*Previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a legal firm is essential.
*Strong knowledge of SRA accounts rules and regulations.
*Proficiency in legal accounting software.
*Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
*Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
*Strong organizational and time management skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*AAT or similar financial qualification is desirable but not essential.
