This well-established, innovative group organisation based in Dorking is looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join the business on a part time basis. You will be working for a reputable company that offers good flexibility and great career stability. This role will be predominately office based and you will be required to work around 25 hours a week over 4 or 5 days. Part Time Finance Analyst - About The Role
In this role you will be working within a finance team of 4 and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. You will play a critical role in supporting the financial health of the company by analysing financial data, preparing reports and ordering insights to drive strategic business decisions.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK accounting standards
* Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying trends and variances to support strategic decision making
* Monitor and analyse costs, recommending cost-saving initiatives without compromising business quality
* Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision making processes
* Working closely with various departments, providing financial insights and guidance to support their objectives
* Identifying and implementing improvements to financial processes, enhancing accuracy and efficiency
The successful Part Time Finance Analyst will have/be:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Finance Analyst role
* AAT or QBE candidates will be considered
* Strong Excel skills
* Attention to detail
