Job Description:
CARE ASSISTANT
12 Hours a week
£14.50 per hour
Location – Herefordshire
Days of work – 12 hours per week/ For three weeks per month. AND 6 hours on a Wednesday after school and six hours on a Sunday.
EnViva, part of the Sonderwell Group are looking for Complex Care Assistants in the Herefordshire area.
Your day to day activities will include looking after a young boy:
Spondylodysplastic Ehlers Danlos Syndrome / LD and PD (Physical Disability)
· plagiocephaly (flattening of the skull on one side)
· anomaly of the cranial cervical junction (bones at base of the skull/ top of the spine),
· mild kyphosis
· scoliosis (curvature) of the spine,
· global developmental delay,
· gastro-oesophageal reflux
· gastrostomy fed due to delayed, unsafe swallow.
· possible epilepsy
· a probable mitral (heart) valve problem
· previous lower limb orthopaedic surgery

We have a robust and indepth onboarding process where as a new employee, you’ll first complete your training and paid induction. As part of your induction, you will shadow another member of your team. This helps you understand your new role and get to know people in your team.
Your colleagues and management team will work with you during your induction to help you put your training into practice and answer any questions you may have. You’ll start building your own support network from day one – this will include your management team, colleagues and departments at Group Support.
Your ongoing development , whether it be studying for an NVQ, refresher or specific clinic training is invested in too.
