Seafast Logistics, part of the Uniserve Group, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Import Operations Assistant to join our team in Felixstowe. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth import processes for our customers.
About You:
*You will have 1 - 2 years relevant experience.
*You are a strong communicator, both internally and externally.
*You maintain a positive attitude and professional approach at all times.
*You are a team player who is adaptable and embraces change.
*You have a keen eye for detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
*You are proficient in MS Office and eager to learn relevant customs and port systems.
What You’ll Do:
*Build and maintain positive relationships with our import customers.
*Process import clearances efficiently within a 2-hour turnaround time.
*Assist with raising T1 entries.
*Accurately complete CHEDs/IPAFFs pre-notifications.
*Arrange import declarations.
*Claim UCNs from the port system.
*Complete assigned training courses.
*Manage and update job file costs and charges.
*Generate duty invoices promptly.
