Job Description:
We are seeking a Class 2 Tanker Driver to join a Drainage & Asbestos contractor based in Rainham, Kent
Permanent position
Monday to Friday
Salary: £45k circa
Overtime hours and rates available
Our client provides effective and fast, high pressure water jetting services to commercial and domestic clients across Kent. They provide solutions for all drainage problems including blocked drains, drain root removal, cracked pipes, die tracing services & CCTV drain surveys.
Our clients vehicles cover the whole of Kent and commit to a 2 hour response time, to customers in Maidstone, Medway, Tonbridge & surrounding areas. All services are carried out whilst adhering to current Health & Safety standards and environmental policies.
They provide services to a wide range of customers including commercial businesses, residential property owners, restaurants and pubs, letting agents, agricultural properties, schools, colleges, universities and care homes.
Tickets & Qualifications:
- High Pressure Water Jetting ticket
- HGV Class 2 License
- Digi Tacho Card
- CPC Card
What you will need:
- Background using high pressure jetting systems and equipment
- Experience carrying out pipe cleaning and jetting operations
- Experience using various industry recognised jet vac tankers
- Background in compiling reports and surveys
- Liaising with clients and customers across the commercial and domestic sectors
- Must be reliable, committed and punctual
- High attention to detail and take pride in what they do
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
- Must be a team player
- Be flexible in your working hours and willing to go on call out rota
Responsibilities:
*Day to day maintenance and upkeep of vehicles
*Carrying our relevant DVSA vehicle checks
*Polite and cooperative communication with customers via phone and in person.
*Collecting liquid waste and delivering to disposal site
*Safe operation of vehicle and equipment.
*Maintaining duty and driving records
*Carry out Daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
*Keeping vehicle clean and tidy
*Maintaining the good reputation of the company
*Repairs and maintenance to sewage systems/pumps stations etc
*Use high pressure water jet to clear blocked drains
