Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Class 2 Driver in Ellesmere Port for a multi-drop position. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
Responsibilities

* Conducting pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and ensuring it is in good working order before each shift
* Safely and accurately loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
* Planning routes and ensuring efficient delivery of goods
* Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
* Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
* Communicating with dispatch to provide updates on delivery progress
* Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner
Requirements
* Hold a valid Class 2 driver’s license ( 2 years min please )
* Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver, preferably in a multi-drop role
* Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures
* Excellent understanding of local traffic laws and regulations
* Strong organisational skills and ability to plan routes effectively
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy items as required
PAY

Min of 10 hours a day paid

£15.89 before 10 hours - £17.72 pay after 10 hours work.
