Job Description:
Our client is a large local government organisation and looking for an experienced CAD Technician to join their team. This is initially a 3 month conract which may be extended for the right applicant
You will
To maintain and develop all of the council’s corporate building drawings using AutoCAD Architecture.To provide a CAD Technician service to fully support members of Facilities Management and the wider council through the design and production of 2D and 3D drawings for accommodation, feasibility, facilities and improvement works.To collect and manage on behalf of all members of Facilities Management all data relating to the council’s corporate buildings ensuring it is current, accurate and accessible.To carry out accurate building surveys using both electronic and manual measuring equipment, capture electronically the data collected using AutoCAD Architecture software and enable synchronisation of data from CAD drawings into the council’s property database.To liaise with external agencies such as architects, consultants and building contractors in the supply and procurement of property data.The continued maintenance and improvement of the units CAD system and the council’s property database.To provide property related textural data in various formats to assist others in such things as financial planning or planned maintenance in relation to the council’s corporate buildings.Provide general assistance in other Facilities Management related activities commensurate with the level of the post.
