Job Description:
St Austell Brewery prides itself on creating memorable
experiences for pub guests. As leaders
in the hospitality sector, we continuously strive to exceed guest expectations
through exceptional service and innovative marketing strategies.
We are seeking a talented and driven Marketing Manager to lead
the development of tactical marketing plans that support Operations. You’ll be
passionate about pubs and hospitality, bring a natural energy and thrive in a
multi-stakeholder environment where no two days will be the same. From helping
our teams celebrate our own beer brands, supporting our third-party drinks’ partners
to ’own’ seasonal occasions, through to
elevating our local food suppliers and ensuring our rooms are full, the
marketing manager role is varied and dynamic.
Working closely with the head of pub marketing and guest experience,
this is a “hands-on” role. You will lead site-level local marketing and oversee
the creation of proactive tactical activities to generate reach and engagement
with our guests and communities.
You’ll thrive in the detail and the data, and blend creative
flair with a numerical focus. You will work closely with our general managers to
support the ambition of driving revenue, maximising spend per head and room
occupancy.
This is an important role ensuring our marketing efforts
align with our commitment to delivering outstanding service and creating
unforgettable moments for our guests.
About you
* Ability to plan and deliver a robust, integrated and guest
focused marketing strategy across all customer-facing channels. Positioning St
Austell Brewery’s pub estate as all year-round destinations, that are fit for
the future, and inclusive for all.
* Strong management skills, able to lead and inspire the
assistant marketing manager - to create and implement plans that are
creative, on brand and rooted in guest insight.
* A good comprehension of the UK pub and hospitality market.
This includes understanding the unique needs and preferences of guests and the
ability to customise in-site local marketing strategies accordingly.
* Work collaboratively with the digital marketing manager
ensuring that there’s coordination between on and off line initiatives which
are focussed on driving direct room and table bookings; generate engagement and
create loyal brand advocates.
* Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with internal
teams, to create cohesive and impactful marketing campaigns which make a
difference to sales.
* A passion for staying informed regarding industry trends,
guest preferences, and competitive activities to ensure our marketing efforts
remain relevant and effective.
* You will thrive in utilising data insights and operational
understanding to ensure that campaigns are strategically aligned and output orientated.
What we offer in return
* 25 days’ annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays)
* 30% discount on food & drink in our managed pubs &
Visitors Centre
* 50% discount on accommodation within our managed pubs
* Fantastic training & career development opportunities
* Pension Scheme - upto 5% Employee and Employer
* Cycle to work scheme
* Company bonus scheme
* Westfield Health cash plan
* Westfield Rewards – Shopping rewards
