Job Description:
Block & Estate Manager (HYBRID ROLE) required for established and reputable estate and letting agency in the Exmouth area covering East Devon and surrounding areas with salary in the region of £26-28,000 plus £4500 car allowance. Could be negotiable for an experienced candidate.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established nationwide firm in Exmouth area dealing in the Block Management part of their business. It would suit a candidate already working in the industry either in block management or someone from another customer services / hospitality background with an excellent head for figures and great admin and IT skills.
Duties will include:
Dealing with managing and maintaining properties and blocks across East Devon
General enquiries and providing excellent customer service with an onus on client retention
Preparing and maintaining annual service budgets, reporting and updating clients, so you must be confident with detailed figures
Administer terms of lease and ensure all legislation and covenants are adhered to.
Attending property visits
Attending Annual General meetings and taking minutes. This will include chairing meetings and public speaking when required and can often be in the evenings so you must have the flexibility to work different hours when required.
Pitching for new business.
The ideal candidate will have strong management skills, be an excellent people person and able to deal with sometimes difficult situations with tact and diplomacy. You will be organised and well presented with a calm, friendly and professional manner (and a great sense of humour is a bonus). Ideally you will also have a good knowledge of health and safety, construction and maintenance, be IT literate and be a good team player as well as the ability to manage your own workload. You will also have your own car.
Salary will be in the region of £26-28,000 plus car allowance of £4500 and benefits and core hours are Monday - Friday (although work outside these hours will be required on occasion).
