We are looking for an experience Head of Operations to oversee c.55 client accounts across the South of England. Personality behind every plateDine provides tailored food services to 140 clients in the business and industry sector. With over two decades of industry experience, we pride ourselves on offering a personalised approach to our clients, whilst delivering outstanding service. Our passion lies in creating great-tasting menus, promoting sustainability, and proudly working with local suppliers and communities. That’s why our menus feature only locally sourced, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients with a target of reaching Climate Zero by 2030.You will organise and lead the catering business across the area in accordance with and to the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland and the client whilst being responsible for the overall profitability of operations under your control. You will ensure retention and development of all contracts to maximise their operational and financial performance. You will be managing client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner to ensure compliance and company polices are adhered to, whilst driving service to a level that excess new and existing customer requirements. You will also be responsible for reviewing business performance and ensuring delivery of key financial targets in line with management and performance reporting, whilst demonstrating commercial value to direct reports, line manager and leadership teams in line with our vision, values and overall business strategy whilst also developing your operational teams within your region. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: * Operational Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of managers and staff to deliver exceptional catering services.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
* Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure the highest levels of service and food quality.
* Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability through effective resource allocation and financial planning.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements to optimize efficiency and service delivery.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards.
* Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and implement innovative solutions to enhance the overall catering experience.
* Passionate about food: Ensure your teams create food across the area that is tailored to client’s wants and needs that are delicious, healthy and planet positive.
About you: * 2+ years experience senior management experience in leading, managing and developing successful teams across multiple sites within a Contract Catering Business
* Must be commercially astute, disciplined, organised and experienced in developing budgets, meeting financial targets, managing a heavy workload and working to tight deadlines
* Flexibility in approach and mindset
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
* Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance.
