Job Description:
The Gekko Group is looking for a creative Junior Full Stack Developer. Are you looking to broaden your skills in C#/.NET development? If you are eager to work on consumer driven projects and be mentored by experienced professionals, We think we may just have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our dynamic and reactive development team and the wider Gekko Group.
Your package:
* Up to £30,000 per annum
* Company Bonus

Your role:
* Collaborate with the development team to design, develop and maintain web/desktop applications using C# and .NET.
* Implement and maintain front-end features using HTML, CSS.
* Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with backend systems.
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding best practices.
* Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
* Debug and troubleshoot issues to identify and implement effective solutions.
* Occasional Out of Hours work to address immediate scrape issues, offset against working week
Your skill set:
* Broad knowledge of C# and the .NET framework.
* Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
* Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
* Experience working with version control systems, such as Git.
* Ability to problem-solve and have analytical skills.
* Effective communication and collaborative approach
* Motivated to learn and grow as a full stack developer.
* Able to commute to work from our Newbury office 4 days a week
Additional Preferred Skills (non-essential)
* Experience with ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core.
* Knowledge of Wordpress web content management system.
* Familiarity with database technologies like SQL Server or MySQL.
* Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
