Job Description:
Teacher / Lecturer of Electrical Installation
We are working with a wonderful Secondary School in Lincolnshire, who are seeking to appoint a dynamic individual to join their forward-thinking Electrical Installation department. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Careers teachers (ECT) who are eager to be part of a team of specialists dedicated to achieving high standards in teaching, learning, and student achievement.
This role provides fantastic CPD oportunities for the right person, and the School would also consider applications from QTLS candidates with a background in Electrical Installation who may have QTLS or willing to work towards a teaching qualification.
The department offers Level 2 & 3 City and Guilds Qualifications and T-Level learning to students - this is a fantastic time to join and shape this department further!
Key Responsibilities:
* Ability to teach Electrical Installation to 11-18 year olds
* Capability to plan and deliver high-quality, creative lessons
* Willingness and enthusiasm to organize and run extra-curricular activities
* Ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status, (QTS), QTLS, DTTLS, CTTLS Trained
* Assessor trained desirable; NVQ Assessor, A1 Assesors Award, TAQA Qualification or D32/D33 Assessors Award
* Excellent organizational skills and a deep appreciation for DT
* Ability to form positive working relationships with both staff and pupils
* Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
