Job Purpose
* Deliver a high standard of service to a variety of tax clients.
* Manage the tax compliance process, working directly with clients to handle queries and ensure HMRC deadlines are met.
* Provide sound tax advisory, delivering technical information in an easy-to-understand way for non-financial stakeholders.
* Review tax calculations and support tax planning.
* Support the firm’s strategic direction by scoping new business opportunities.
* Liaise with clients as their go-to advisor, building trusted and long-lasting relationships.
* Review efficiencies and recommend new processes to improve workflow and ROI.
* Review the work of junior team members, providing supportive mentorship.
* Set an example to the tax team as a proactive and hands-on Manager.

* ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified with several years’ tax experience within practice.
* Previous supervisory experience, with good people management skills.

* Strong leadership skills with a natural ability to inspire those around you.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Strong attention to detail and sound organisation skills.
