Position: Van Driver
Location: Base/ main office in Hitchin
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely and efficiently operate company-owned vans for the delivery and transportation of goods.
* Deliver packages, parcels, and other items to designated locations in a timely manner.
* Ensure accuracy in recording delivery details and obtaining necessary signatures.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to maintain safe driving practices.
* Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
Requirements:
* Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
* Previous experience as a van driver or similar role preferred.
* Familiarity with local routes and geography.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to lift and carry packages
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work varied hours
