We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Buyer to join our team within Vistry South Central Midlands, at our Coleshill Office. As our Trainee Buyer you will provide support to the wider Buying team and gain experience across an array of Commercial activities and practice whilst gaining experience, training, and relevant qualifications to further your professional career.

* Happy to undertake an HNC/HTQ in Construction and the Build Environment course (Day Release)

* Professional communication style with the ability to work within a team of varying seniority within the business.
* Full UK driving licence (Currently Working-Towards)

* Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects.
* Assist other members of the buying function in producing orders, schedules and tender analysis when required.
* Be able to apply different types of contracts to different situations.
* Assist in the selection of and negotiation with specialist suppliers for a construction project.
* Assist in the measurement and costing of construction works during a project.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports, cash flow and cost forecasts for a construction project.
* Assist in the collection, collation and storage of relevant data and its analysis.
* Maintain the Sustain IQ system monitoring regional Social Value
