Job Description:
Technical Administrator, Poole, Temporary-Permanent, £13ph
As a Technical Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement and supply of materials necessary. This role includes raising materials, interacting with suppliers, processing orders, and answering queries related to orders. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, proficiency in basic office software, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Key Responsibilities of a Technical Administrator:
* Raise and move materials as needed, ensuring proper handling and storage
* Track inventory levels and ensure materials are available for production and operational needs
* Coordinate with internal teams to identify material requirements and priorities
* Communicate with suppliers to order materials, negotiate prices, and manage delivery schedules
* Monitor and follow up on order statuses, ensuring timely delivery of materials
Requirements of a Technical Administrator:
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good telephone manner and customer service orientation
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
